i am on the outside edge
beyond it
where the sand swirls out to mist
where what was made (a poem, a bus, a pancake, a career)
dissolves into something else:
form swallowed by possibility
my being on the breath that blows the sand painting
to dust to galaxy to rhythm of life to
illimitable blue prayers of earth
