Wow, thanks Rachel. So many fabulous things going on, in 5 lines! I really like the colored line changes (perhaps an idea for a future prompt? - inner conversations? two poems interleaved, delineated by color?
I relate to the rolicking race, pose and then grip.
Rachel -- so simple, and yet so poignant. I had no idea you could write like this. With just a few short words, you invoke something so visceral. Nice.
